    1. If only we could isolate the effects of these policies strictly for the people that voted for them.

Corporations will gladly help out and purchase family farms using pennies on the dollar.

Don’t worry, they’ll still vote R next time around because of DEI or some other bullshit reason

Trump is banking on your business failing so his rich friends can buy up all your land and assets for his plutocracy.

They cut off the nose to spite the face. Now we want to start in on the ears. If anyone would learn their lesson, it might be worth trying – except that won’t happen; we’re just going to be walking around with no nose, no ears, and our eyes are next.

    6. Project 2025 specifically calls for the elimination of virtually all farm subsidies, particularly to small farms. This will accelerate farm bankruptcies and force consolidation.

None of this was secret before the election and farmers already got hosed during the last trump trade war.

So these people voted for a platform explicitly designed to cut any support to them at the same time cutting off their primary export market.

      They voted to bankrupt themselves.

    7. Does anyone else feel like all the shit Trump is doing, is because he is listening to dictators, who want to hurt America, but he thinks that they genuinely want to be his friend and help him, because he wants to rule like they do?

Because the collapse of food production domestically sure sounds like what Russia did in Ukraine with grain, to starve and weaken the country economically. This is very concerning to me.

    8. They’ll be fine. They can just work at one of the many factories that are opening up across America.

    9. I live in AR, and I am not going to lie…I hope it happens as they voted for it, but if I get any sort of chance I am going to try to find some land and it won’t be used for farming anymore, will turn it into stritcly a duck hunting plot for me and my buddies.

Farmers had to be bailed out under Trump’s 1st term, yet they still voted for him again.
Now, they are begging to be bailed out again.
Still, they can’t figure out why they magically need to be bailed out every time a Republican is in office.
It’s like there is no correlation.

    11. What will probably happen next is no meaningful aid will come, and these farmers will be forced to sell their farm/land for pennies on the dollar to big Ag. After these acquisitions have been completed, a form of corporate welfare will be in place to support these major companies should they experience the same hardships and disruptions these independent farmers did.

My favorite is the people who come and say “this guy voted for harris” or something adjacent. They are so inept and blind that they “won” the election. Like, I wonder if they feel like winners? What about when the 401k’s gone? When ur grandparents can’t retire or come out of retirement to work again? Real winners lmao, it’s such insanity to me. They are GENUINELY happy and think trumps done nothing wrong. The rich leading the brain rotten and gullible off the cliff and they CHEERED as they walk off to their deaths. Amazing.

    13. Good, let’s start a gofundme for the farmers to take a trip (back) to DC so they can perform part 2 of their “Day of Love” with Trump

No national guards, just like last time, with American blessing instead of Russian
